Previously worked for RBC as a Financial Analyst in the Financial Reporting & Valuations Department, previously worked there in Document Imaging, Archiving & Support. This allowed me to gain extensive experience in working with financial software (mainly Microsoft Excel) to put together spreadsheets, worked with extensive databases & preparing reports for the 100’s of clients that RBC Global Services (formerly Royal Trust) kept funds for.
Chain of experience:
- entered all files that came into the office (strong computer skills & type 50+ WPM)
- trained my current office manager and many other agents to handle that part of business and became the B Manager for the office. Always had a sense of where business was heading and spent a lot of time reading broker packages, having 1 on 1 and group training & presentations to become sharp in different lender products and lender guidelines
- merged into an A & B Manager becoming knowledgeable in the full spectrum of what lenders have available to the broker world
- spent years developing relationships with BDMs but more importantly Underwriters as this allows the office to gain strong, dependable response & approvals to our deal submissions
- managed an office of 15+ agents
